Invitation to Video Game Playtest – Meet with game developers!

Posted by:

The Nuclear Science and Security Consortium (NSSC) invites you to playtest a video game (SIGNAL) developed in partnership between UC Berkeley students and scientists from both Sandia and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories. This game will be used as part of a research effort toward studying conflict escalation and strategic stability of nations.  Players will take the role of their nation’s leader, each competing against the other to secure their people’s prosperity through economic, military, and diplomatic means.

Participants will get to meet the game developers and provide valuable feedback as they prepare for the game’s release later this year.  Please bring a laptop to play, along with your appetite as food & beverages will be provided.

Send your RSVP to attend or questions by email to Charlotte Carr (charlottecarr@berkeley.edu) with the subject “SIGNAL Playtest”.  We look forward to playing with you!
