NSSC UTK – Scintillator Summer School

June 11 – 13, 2020 at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN

A two-and-a-half-day summer school on scintillators will commence following the conclusion of the University Program Review at ~2:00 pm on June 11 and continuing until ~5:00 pm on June 13.  The school will be held at the University of Tennessee and will cover synthesis, characterization, theory, detector design, and applications. Speakers will include experts from academia, national labs, and industry.  There is no fee for the school. The school will be appropriate for grad students, post-docs, and advanced undergrads. Enrollment may be limited. Continental breakfast, coffee breaks, and box lunches will be provided on June 12 and 13.
