NSSC’s Rachel Slaybaugh shares her tips on implementing version control

NSSC Nuclear Engineering Focus Area Lead and Professor of Nuclear Engineering at UC Berkeley, Rachel Slaybaugh, shares her tips on implementing version control, like the Git repository, to make it easier for students and scientists to keep track of their evolving scientific code. This Fall, Professor Slaybaugh will also serve as the Faculty Advisory of a DeCal, STEMing Out to Built Futures.This course will expose K-5 students in the West Oakland area to careers in STEM fields while simultaneously helping them improve scholastic achievement. This class will also give Berkeley students the opportunity to learn about STEM education techniques for young learners as well as STEM education in different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
