There is an effort to identify qualified candidates for an open postdoctoral position in my lab. The goal of this work is to develop an advanced compact neutron imager for localization and characterization of special nuclear material. The postdoc will provide support to the project primarily in the form of an optical segmented design approach for neutron imaging and scintillator characterization measurements. Dr. Bethany Goldblum has been appointed the new Executive Director of the Nuclear Science and Security Consortium. Dr. Goldblum previously served as NSSC’s Scientific Director, and has been instrumental in developing and strengthening consortium wide research and programs. In particular, Dr. Goldblum was a key member of the team designing and implementing the successful NSSC-LANL Keepin Nonproliferation Summer Science Program. She also serves as the Education Crosscutting Focus Area lead for NSSC.
