An article on the 2018 NSSC Fall Workshop and Advisory Board Meeting was featured in the Sandia Lab News. A total of 105 people attended the event. Highlights included an update on NSSC accomplishments, student oral presentations and a poster session, as well as reports by consortium focus area leads.
Sandra Bogetic will present on “Design of Integral Experiments at the National Ignition Facility for Nuclear Data Validation on Modeled Neutron Flux Spectra” as part of the NACS Seminar Series at LLNL. Her talk will be October 17th at 2:00 pm.
Barbara Jacak, NSSC Focus Area Lead for Nuclear and Particle Physics, Director of the Nuclear Science Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and UC Berkeley Professor, has been notified that she will receive the 2019 Tom W.
